Benefits of ASENZ membership:
ASENZ welcomes membership applications from providers of supported employment, consumers, families, and interested individuals.
 
Benefits of ASENZ membership include:
* Increased awareness and knowledge of SE issues
* Formal and informal opportunities to meet other practitioners & managers working in SE & learn from their experiences
* Access to information on issues and events related to SE
* Regular updates on the work of the Board and the Executive Officer
* Discounted prices for ASENZ conferences, seminars, workshops and training Participation in local branch networks
* Opportunity to network with other similar organisations at local, national and international levels
* Participation in a vital network of people involved in SE development and innovations
* Access to support, advice, and assistance with the development of SE services
* Utilising ASENZ to speak and act on behalf of SE interests in N.Z.
* Opportunity to vote for Board directors or to become a director
* Opportunity to vote for, or be nominated for the ASENZ annual awardsPLUS these benefits that have been added this year:
* A framed certificate of membership (each year you will receive an updated certificate to put in your frame)

ASENZ Membership
Membership fees are estimated on your Supported Employment contract only and include GST. If you don't have a contract with MSD then fees will be based on your current financial budget as it pertains to your Supported Employment service. If you have any queries please contact the ASENZ office.
 
ASENZ offers 4 membership options

* Full Voting Organisational Membership:

Organisations that provide distinct Supported Employment services according to the principles of ASENZ. Requires ASENZ Board approval.

In order to become a full voting member you must first establish to a Board representative or Executive Officer that your organisation meets the criteria outlined below.

This is not an accreditation process, but rather a simple vetting process to ensure that full membership or the ASENZ logo is only linked to approved organisations/individuals.

* Full Voting Individual Membership:

An individual who can demonstrate current interest, practice or participation in Supported Employment services. Requires ASENZ Board approval.

* Associate Non-voting Organisational Membership:

Organisations that have an interest in Supported Employment but who are not currently providing Supported Employment services, this can include businesses or organizations that are employing people with disabilities or have links with other ASENZ members.

* Associate Non-voting Individual Membership:

An individual who has an interest in Supported Employment but who is not currently participating in or practicing Supported Employment services.

Any organisation or individual who is not a supported employment provider can become n Associate (non-voting) member.

Note: Staff employed by organisations with full membership are not eligible for full individual membership, but can become individual associates members.

Consumers of Supported Employment services whose provider organisation is a full member are eligible for full individual membership.

Organisations who are not supported employment providers can be associate members.
